At Mactech Distance Education, the Admissions Office is dedicated to providing each student with the necessary information and support to complete the application process. Counseling comes from people who know your options.

You will receive current information on the best funding options available to you. If you are thinking about a loan, you will know about the many ways there are to reduce your debt, revise the terms of your loan, or what to do if you have trouble making payments.

Entrance Requirements

Entrance into any of the HomeEd courses requires a high school diploma endorsed by a provincial or territorial education authority, an equivalent such as the General Education Development (GED) designation, a passing grade on an acceptable standardized test, or Mature Student Status. MATRIX Post Secondary programs require the above plus proven aptitude for the subject matter.

 

Support documentation to send with your Application:

 

Applying with a Grade 12 or Grade 12 Equivalent

1. High School transcripts or GED, or Test Results
2. Clear copies of two pieces of Government Identification
3. A letter outlining future plans may be requested

Applying as a Mature Student

1. Three letters / forms of reference
2. Clear copies of 2 pieces of Identification
3. Letter outlining future plans
4. Current resume
5. School transcripts
